Abdi Magangan

Abdi Magangan

Some of them looks shy when I took their picture. Guess what.. there are 7 Abdi Magangan on the picture, and 5 of them have the same initial name “Yudo”. There are Mr. Yudoraharjo, Yudopradoto, Yudosaronto, Yudodinomo, Yudosarono, Mujiyono and Parjono.

    Hi Kamal..

As far as i knew, Abdi Magangan is one kind of Abdi Dalem - people who voluntarily subjugate their services to the Kraton (Palace) of Jogja. As Abdi Dalem, they are organized based on functional services. Magangan is the name of the place where they do their duty/services, thats why they called as Abdi Magangan… :)
